From the cool and often damp days of April through the heavy heat of July, the ultimate goal of all senior league players is to participate in the Senior Baseball World Series held in Easley, South Carolina. All of the regional tournaments around the world feed into this tournament. You are currently browsing the site of one of these regional tournaments -- the US Central Region. After a 3 year absence, this tournament came back to the Illinois Valley in 2011. The 2019 tournament will mark the 34th anniversary of the tournament being held in the Illinois Valley. The 2019 tournament will be held July 19 thru July 24.
Regional Tournament
Regional Tournament play is a guaranteed 3 games, 2 in pool play and 1 in single elimination. State Champions are assembled from all of the states and joined by the host team, Illinois District 20 Champions. Who will the next champion be? Only time will tell, but as the Central Region Champions they have been tested by the best of our thirteen states. They have withstood the challenges, and we wish them "GOOD LUCK" in their quest to become WORLD CHAMPIONS. Pool play will be used followed by a single elimination bracket. All teams will be seeded at the end of pool play per Little League rules and regulations

The Central Region Senior Baseball Regional Tournament(Little League Illinois District 20)is a not for profit organization with the following goals to be observed by everybody associated with the tournament 1. Show good sportsmanship at all times. 2. Be cooperative with others. 3. Offer a safe and supportive environment for youth. 4. Encounter the thrills of victory and the agony of defeat. 5. Treat everyone equal regardless of gender, creed, or beliefs. 6. Respect those in a position of authority. 7. Put forth your best effort. 8. Adhere to the rules and regulations that govern Little League Baseball and 9. Remember it's only a game! Have fun!
